HAGIA SOPHIA --- A ninth-century mosaic of Mary and Jesus is seen in the dome of the Hagia Sophia museum in Istanbul, Turkey, Nov. 16. The museum, dating from the sixth century, was first a Christian church, was turned into a mosque during the Ottoman Empire and is now a museum.
