TEAM --- Oblate Missionary Father John Lasseigne, pastor of Mary Immaculate Church in Pacoima, stands next to parishioner Juana Rodriguez, whose home was saved from foreclosure thanks to community organizing efforts in her parish. Fr. Lasseigne will travel to Boston this weekend to meet with U.S. Congressman Barney Frank where he will speak about the dire foreclosure situation in the San Fernando Valley as well as an innovative pilot project designed to help homeowners in default obtain affordable monthly payments to stay in their homes.
